If you or someone you love has ever dealt with UTIs, you know it can be miserable! D-MANNOSE capsules – 500 mg capsules taken three times a day. D-mannose is a natural sugar that acts like a pied Piper to bacteria. It binds to the bacteria that makes up most UTI infections, and carries it out in the urine, not allowing it to adhere to your tissues and cause further harm.
MARSHMALLOW ROOT capsules – 480 mg capsules. Two capsules taken three times a day. This lovely root is like a good nurse. It is soothing and protective to inflamed tissues. It reduces swelling and irritation, and encourages tissue healing.
You can also make a triple herb tea with marshmallow root, echinacea and cornsilk tea and drink it throughout the day. Echinacea is a powerful immune support, and cornsilk is an excellent anti-inflammatory that has been used for centuries for bladder health. If possible, use organic teas or teas that have not been treated in any way during the growing process with pesticides.
USNEA EXTRACT – “Old man’s beard,” as usnea is affectionately known is a benefit to urinary tract health and much more. It has both anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties and can also be helpful with skin issues. This is just a bonus tool, as often using only the first two products and practicing good habits can bring about quick healing.
PROBIOTICS – As the bad bacteria is removed, make sure you are taking some good bacteria to restore the balance of the gut. The microbiome makes up between 60-80% of your immune system. So, taking excellent care of it can make a big difference in overall health!

Taking ownership of your health in positive ways that don’t lead to further harm is a satisfying endeavor when you see the results and outcomes these things can bring.
